TESTIMONIALS

Dear Denise,

I just had to write and thank you for offering and teaching the Pet First Aid & CPR class that I recently attended.  The class was highly informative and very interesting and I particularly enjoyed your personal presentation.

Since I am a professional pet sitter, I have a vested interest in learning as much valuable information as possible regarding pets.  I had not yet been formally trained in pet first aid & CPR, and I was thrilled to see that you were offering a class in my area.  Upon completion of your class, I came away feeling much more equipped to handle any emergencies involving mine and my clients pets.

Much to my surprise, I had an incident occur the very next day that put my new skills to the test!  In the course of that particular weekend, I was caring for two precious Cairn Terriers.  I had just given Minnie a little "doggie treat" when all of the sudden she started choking.  As I watched her desperately trying to cough up the goodie lodged in her throat, I realized that she needed my help.  I quickly took the appropriate action in administering the "Doggie Heimlich Maneuver" on her.  Immediately the obstruction shot out of her mouth and flew across the kitchen floor.  Upon further examination, I found her to be just fine and greatly relieved to have been helped.

Denise, I can't tell you how grateful I am to have attended your class.  There was nothing quite as rewarding as knowing I had saved the day for this helpless little dog.  And her wagging tail and thankful licks on my face let me know that Minnie felt the same way.

I highly recommend the Sunny-dog Ink Pet First Aid & CPR class to anyone who shares their lives with precious pets they consider family!

Sincerely,

Tina Kenny

CARING FOR YOUR SENIOR PET CLASS  $35

You CANT reverse time and turn your dogs into puppies (or cats into kittens), butyou CAN help your favorite senior maintain a healthy lifestyle.  A crucial part of protecting your older dogs or cats health is to detect problems early, provide the proper nutrition and keep your pet active.  "Old Age" is a condition, not an illness or disease, and this workshop will teach pet guardians the specific needs of older pets (age 7 and up) and how to better care for them.

Saturday, April 12th, 2008

2:00pm - 4:30pm

The Burbank Animal Shelter
